Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)

Is there any charge to receive care, and do you need insurance or ID?

All services provided by the HOPES are sponsored care (including food, social activity, health promotion, safe space, clinical care) with patient/clients not being charged. No ID, No MSI, and No fee required.

Can someone make an appointment?

No. At this time, the Health Centre operates on a walk-in basis only.

How are students supervised?

Students will be supervised by off-site health professional mentors. At the Heath Centre location, each shift is staffed with several professional mentors. Our goal is to have a rotating support from all programs. The number of healthcare students scheduled to participate in the Health Centre will be limited to allow for optimal supervision levels, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care.
